Socc360 is a football companion app for live scores, fixtures, teams, players, leagues, standings, news and matchday context. This Privacy Policy explains what information Socc360 (“we”, “our”, “us”) may collect when you use the Socc360 iOS app and website (collectively, the “Service”), how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using Socc360 you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
1. Information We May Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide, maintain and improve the Service. Below is a description of each category.
Account and Profile Information
If you create an account or sign in, we may collect your email address, display name, and any profile preferences you set (such as your favourite teams, leagues or competitions). This information is used to personalise your experience and to authenticate you across sessions.
Device and Notification Data
When you enable notifications, Socc360 registers your device with Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and receives a device push token. This token is used solely to deliver match notifications (goals, cards, kick-off, final whistle) to your device. We do not use push tokens for advertising or share them with advertising networks.
Follows, Favourites and Tracked Matches
When you follow a team, mark a league as a favourite, or track a specific match, that preference is stored so the Service can surface relevant content and send relevant notifications. These preferences are associated with your account.
App Usage and Diagnostics
We may collect anonymised usage data — such as which screens are visited and how frequently — to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. Crash reports and performance diagnostics may also be collected automatically to help us identify and fix issues. This data does not include personally identifiable information.
Football Content and News
Match scores, fixtures, standings, team and player data, and news articles are sourced from football data providers and news aggregation services. This content is not personal data — it is publicly available sports information displayed within the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and personalise the Service, including live scores and fixture updates.
- Deliver push notifications you have chosen to receive.
- Remember your followed teams, leagues and tracked matches.
- Improve app performance, stability and features.
- Respond to support enquiries.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
Socc360 relies on third-party services to operate. These services may process limited data as described below:
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — used to deliver notifications to iOS devices. Apple's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.
- Football data providers — we receive live and historical football data (scores, fixtures, lineups, standings) from external sports data sources. No personal user data is shared with these providers.
- News aggregation services — football news articles and editorial content are sourced from external providers. No personal user data is shared.
- App Store / Apple In-App Purchase — auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple under your Apple ID. Socc360 does not collect or store your payment-card or financial account details; we only receive Apple-provided receipt data needed to validate entitlement (active/expired status, product identifier) and to honour purchases you have made. Apple’s privacy policy governs the payment transaction.
- Sign in with Apple — when used, Apple provides Socc360 with a stable user identifier and, with your consent, an email address (which may be Apple’s private relay). We use this only to create or recognise your account. Apple’s privacy policy governs this exchange.
Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies directly.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account and preference data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request deletion of your account and data, we will action that request within a reasonable period and delete or anonymise your personal information, except where retention is required by law.
Anonymised usage and diagnostic data may be retained for longer periods to support aggregate analytics and product improvement.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights in relation to your personal data, including:
- The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
- The right to correct inaccurate data.
- The right to request deletion of your personal data.
- The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- The right to object to or restrict certain processing activities.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may notify you via the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
