Adam Rhys Davies (born 17 July 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as goalkeeper for EFL Championship club Sheffield United and the Wales national team. Born in Germany, he plays for the Wales national team. After beginning his career as a youth player at Everton, Davies moved to Sheffield Wednesday in 2012 but did not make a first team appearance for them. After two years at Sheffield Wednesday, Davies signed for League One side Barnsley . On 4 October 2016, Davies was called up to the Wales national football team squad to replace the injured Danny Ward for the International Football Cup Qualififying matches against Austria and Georgia.
