Elmas a strong alternative for Juventus at €10m

Juventus are once more being linked with a potential swoop for former Napoli and Torino midfielder Eljif Elmas from RB Leipzig, valued at €10m.

There had already been some suggestions that coach Luciano Spalletti might want a reunion with the player, who was part of his squad when winning the Scudetto at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Since then, Elmas was sold to RB Leipzig in 2024 for €24m, then returned to Serie A twice for loan experiences at Torino and Napoli.

Tuttosport maintain that Juventus are hoping for a loan agreement with option to buy for a total fee in the region of €10m.

The North Macedonia international’s greatest strength is his versatility, as Spalletti knows all too well that he can do a job in numerous different roles for the midfield and attack.

Elmas turns 27 in September and has a long history with Italian football, so would be more than happy to return for another stint.

His contract with RB Leipzig only runs to June 2028, so getting them to agree a loan with option to buy might be tricky.

Treat Elmas-to-Juventus as a low-probability fallback transfer; do not factor into near-term lineup predictions unless primary targets collapse.
