The list is dominated by Paris Saint-Germain signings, reflecting the club's financial power since Qatari ownership began in 2011. Neymar's €222m move from Barcelona in 2017 remains the most expensive signing, followed by Kylian Mbappé's initial loan-to-buy deal from Monaco in 2018. AS Monaco's 2017 spending spree and various PSG acquisitions of the late 2010s and early 2020s make up much of the upper portion of the list.
